Disneyland Diaries...Paradise Pier Hotel

We choose to stay in one of the three Disneyland Resorts. We got two adjoining rooms. Each room could sleep 5 people. We were extremely grateful for the extra space. The rooms were lovely and very "beachy" feeling. Surfboards, wicker chairs, pictures of boardwalks, cupboards with plantation shutters all adorned the rooms. We even had a view of the rooftop pool (roof of the extended 3rd floor). It was a very fun place to stay. The shampoo bottles even had Mickey Mouse ears on top. Very cute! Some of the amenities were:

  • A rooftop pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, sauna, and a water slide (the slide was closed for the winter),
  • an arcade,
  • a movie room,
  • PRIVATE "resort guest" entrances to the park,
  • access to all three resort hotels and their amenities,
  • live Disney Characters in the lobby (you won't find that at the Comfort Suites),
  • a full scale restaurant,
  • a large gift shop,
  • quick access to Downtown Disney (only the best shopping EVER),
  • activities for the kids on rainy days,
  • helium balloons for the kids every day if you want them,
  • and all the other amenities usual to hotels.

the balloon with her new camera that she got for Christmas)

We were so very glad we stayed in the resort. They really know how to take good care of you!!!
