My Best Friend

I often look at my beautiful little girl who is quickly becoming a woman.  Although I have anxiously awaited to find out what kind of person she would grow up to be, I have also waited with trepidation.  Shaney has been my BEST FRIEND since the day she was born.  I often worry that the day will come when she will no longer look at me as her best friend.  That day has not come, and for that I am grateful.  For now I will just enjoy the privilege that she still considers me her BEST FRIEND.  Thank you Heavenly Father for sending me this child.
