This morning I walked into the office of the Kirkland Montessori campus I work at. I noticed that in the principal's office was a particular woman who has been there for several weeks. I have often wondered "what is going on?"
We recently went through a major change at the Montessori where a new principal came in mid-year. I still don't know what all the circumstances were. The situation has been kept very quiet and so I didn't ask. I was hoping we weren't having another change.
As I went into the supply room where I keep most of my music stuff, this particular woman followed me in and introduced herself as the new principal at the Issaquah Montessori campus. It will be opening up this summer. She told me she had heard amazing things about what I do for the music program at the Kirkland campus. And she asked me right then and there if I would be interested in taking the job as the "music specialist" at the Issaquah campus. What?!? Did I hear that right? No interview, no resume, no application. I suppose my reputation has preceeded me. I am so flattered and honored! I was wanting to pick up more hours teaching music. I guess the Lord beat me to it. And Dave and I are so grateful for this blessing. Life is good!

Congratulations! So, will you be at one school in the morning and the other in the afternoon? Issaquah is a long haul...
