For most of the 17 years that we have been living in the beautiful state of Washington we have gone to the tulip festival up in the Skagit Valley. For several years we stopped going because the boys were only interested in the mud puddles and not the tulips. And it was not worth the trip for me with muddy little boys. This year was our last year to go with Shaney so we put on our boots and braved the trip. It was a gorgeous day to be out in the fields with thousands of tulips. And when all was said and done we had a good day.
*This year we didn't let the boys into the shop because one year
they broke something and we ended up buying it
(notice the sign in the middle of the collage).
*Dave normally buys me a tulip bouquet, but we decided
that since it was Shaney's last year she should get the bouquet.
