For many years the Mortenson family has gone to the same Chinese restaurant in downtown Issaquah for a New Years dinner. It was a tradition that my sister's late husband John grew up with and then shared with the family he married into. Although John has passed away, we still carry on that tradition. It is not the same without him, but we still enjoy getting together as a family before letting go of the old year and embracing the new one. This was my fortune for the new year, "Look in the right places, you can find some good offerings". Hmmm, I wonder what that will be...
