Today out my kitchen window is a windy autumn day. The red and orange leaves are blowing off their summer residence and falling down in a frenzy of red and orange to the ground. The wind-chime next to the window speaks in gentle, ringing tones. Pleasing to my ear. The gate has been left unlatched and is subject to abandon as the wind blows it this way and that. It is charming, so I let it be. The cruel winter is coming, but today I live in a different kind of paradise. A paradise where the warm colors of fall wrap you in a comfortable blanket of contentment and peace. It is a beautiful day out my kitchen window.
