Today out my kitchen window was a little surprise.
Thank goodness for Shaneylin's inquiring eyes.
We were all snuggled up in our warm cozy house
still donning our jammies, (now no chorus of "wows").
When suddenly to our amazement in multitudes fell
In our land of Snohomish a storm of rain and hail.
It plinked upon the rooftops, and tinked on window sills,
But we weren't the only ones enjoying all the thrills.
As the princess of the castle when eyes upon the window met.
Proclaimed, "Matthew's in the rainstorm, and he's getting all wet!"
It's supposed our Matthew wanted to experience and note
the storm and to report when appropriately soaked.
Funny kid!

My kids would have been outside with him. They love a good rain storm.
It was a good hail storm huh. I was still in my PJ's too.
