Disneyland Highlights

I'm just going to jump right in.

We.had.a.BLAST!!!  We stayed at the Paradise Peir Resort again with two adjoining rooms.  We got two Magic Mornings (entrance into the park one hour before the public), and of course, use of two secret entrances (short cuts) into the parks through the Grand Californian Hotel.  We also got access to the Disneyland Hotel pools and shopping at Downtown Disney.  We spent opening until closing in the parks every day.  And did almost everying there is to do in both parks. 

The whole family agrees that the highlights of our week (other than the rides) were:

World of Color

Monday evening we got resort guest priority reservations (perk) for "World of Color" over Paradise Bay.  It is only about the most amazing water and light show you have ever seen.  We could see if from the hotel, but it was more fantastic in person.  It was fountains and colors and music and fire and bubbles and movie scenes projected on water vapor and projected on a spot on the California Screaming roller coaster.  It was truly a beatiful show and worth seeing.

ElecTRONica

After the World of Color show Dave took the little boys back to the hotel and the big kids and I headed to ElecTRONica.  It was this really cool dance party at the Hollywood Backlot.  The DJ played really fun futuristic music and there were moving dance manaquinns on these platforms in space suits.  And the kids were a little surprized to see that their mom could dance and still look cool.  The three of us had so much fun.  We didn't get back to the hotel until about 10:30pm.

Disney street parade

It was a magical parade.  We sang and danced and pretty much had a party in the street.  We saw just about every Disney character there was to see.  Shaney's and my favorite, of course, was the princess float.   And Cinderella is our most favorite character!  We had a great time.
