Surgery

 Ryan has had a speech impediment since forever.
Took him to speech pathologist.
He has a "V" shaped uvula.
Referred him to Seattle Children's Hospital.
Love that place (said sarcastically). So many hours spent there.
They found that he has a cleft pallet that will not close to make sounds properly.
Surgery will fix that so he can speak less nasally.

COOL HUH?!?
Surgery was only a "GO" if they did not find any traces of the lovely family heart disease.
He's clean.  HOORAY!!!
He also had an EKG.
That makes 3 of our kids who've had one.
We are scheduled for November the week we get back from Florida!
I know, we are crazy.
And you thought being normal was normal for us.
Normal is just a setting on the washing machine.  LOL!

Ryan had this black noodle pushed down his nose with a camera on the end.

 He says to me, "mom, I saw a buger!"
Oh that child.
Gotta love a kid like that!

 We got to see where the problem is.
