Today is home school day. We finish up Ryan's work for the week and typically try to spend the rest of the day hanging out. We have absolutely LOVED this year. It has been a little challenging trying to juggle a home schooler with being a working mother. But, that aside, we have had a very good year and Ryan and I have been able to do lots of things together that we weren't able to do while he was in public school. I have also been grateful to have him as a companion as I truly despise being home alone. He has been my little buddy!
This afternoon we went to the lake and park for a field trip, so to speak. We have been enjoying beautiful Spring weather and the baby ducks are on the lake. It was a perfect opportunity to hang out with my little boys (although Matth is already taller than me so he is not so little anymore). I love spending time with my boys. It was a good day at the lake. We made some really great memories!
