Wealthy Trick-or-treating

I am very grateful for parents who live close.  And every once in a while my kids get to spend a weekend with them so that Dave and I can have a little break.  I have had a rough couple of weeks and asked if Mother and Daddy could come and get the kids for this weekend.  Halloween weekend, that is.

My parents happen to live in an affluent community in Sammamish, WA.  And across the main road from where they live is a very wealthy community called Windsor Greens named for the golf course it backs up to.  These are multi-million dollar homes, one of which yours truly fell in love with, at only 2.1 million dollars and 6,000 square feet.  Absolutely gorgeous.  Just slightly out of our price range...lol!

When our kids realized that they were going to go trick-or-treating in these neighborhoods, Shaney pipes up with excitement and exclaims, "so those are the houses that are gonna give away the 100 Grand bars!"  We all laughed hysterically and thought it was very funny.  I really do not know what they will pass out, but my kids are sure it's gonna be great!

I used to try and hit the wealthy neighborhoods when I was little because they'd give out full size candybars... 100 grands weren't around yet, but yummy!
I hope you have a good weekend!
