I am so excited! It is February and the tender shoots of my peony plants are finally up. I wait all winter for this event. For me it signifies that spring is almost here, when the skies turn from their angry winter gray to a happy sunny blue. I love my peonies. I have missed them. I can hardly wait until Memorial Day when they bloom. Welcome back my old friends!
