It has snowed again here in the PacNW. Snow seems to paralyze this part of the country. Even if it is only a few inches. What most people don't realize is that many communities here have extremely steep hills. It rains here MOST of the time, so when snow conditions move in it FREEZES those steep hills and makes driving conditions treacherous. Ofttimes going up and down hills is the ONLY way to commute from one place to another. We happen to live up on one of those hills. And either way you go, you have to go down. But hopefully, it will melt away fast, as it usually does.
(I love these little windows in the stairwell-they are so cute!)

I agree I love those windows too! Hills definetly make things harder to maneuver. I worry more about the people who don't know how to drive in the snow.
We were supposed to get snow in the valleys from that same storm, but nothing happened. We were so disappointed.
